Business Development Executive

Job Description
As a Business Development Executive you will play a pivotal role in expanding our government and commercial business. You will be responsible for:
 
  1. Identifying New Opportunities:
    • Proactively identifying federal contract opportunities aligned with our organization’s capabilities.
    • Scanning government procurement portals, attending industry events, and networking to stay informed.
    • Generate leads through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.).
  2. Cultivating Relationships:
    • Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, prime contractors, and subcontractors.
    • Collaborating with executive leadership to foster strategic partnerships.
  3. Securing Government Contracts:
    • Developing and executing strategies to secure federal contracts.
    • Participating in proposal development, bid submissions, and negotiations.
    • Ensuring compliance with federal regulations, acquisition policies, and contract requirements.
  4. Market Intelligence and Analysis:
    • Conducting market research specific to federal agencies and their needs.
    • Analyzing trends, budget allocations, and policy changes affecting federal procurement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government Relations, Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven track record in business development, specifically within the federal sector.
  • Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and government procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
