Job Description As a Business Development Executive you will play a pivotal role in expanding our government and commercial business. You will be responsible for:
Identifying New Opportunities:
Proactively identifying federal contract opportunities aligned with our organization’s capabilities.
Scanning government procurement portals, attending industry events, and networking to stay informed.
Generate leads through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.).
Cultivating Relationships:
Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, prime contractors, and subcontractors.
Collaborating with executive leadership to foster strategic partnerships.
Securing Government Contracts:
Developing and executing strategies to secure federal contracts.
Participating in proposal development, bid submissions, and negotiations.
Ensuring compliance with federal regulations, acquisition policies, and contract requirements.
Market Intelligence and Analysis:
Conducting market research specific to federal agencies and their needs.
Analyzing trends, budget allocations, and policy changes affecting federal procurement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government Relations, Marketing or a related field.
Proven track record in business development, specifically within the federal sector.
Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and government procurement processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
