Senior Business Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with experience in Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing and improving business processes, coupled with specialized knowledge in ICAM systems and frameworks. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our ICAM initiatives align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements related to ICAM systems.
    • Conduct gap analyses to identify discrepancies between current ICAM capabilities and desired outcomes.
    • Document the ICAM/IdAM requirements.
  • ICAM Solutions Design: (In collaboration with Architect)
    • Design and recommend ICAM solutions that meet business needs and comply with industry standards and regulations.
    • Develop detailed specifications for ICAM system enhancements and integrations.
    • Analyze the current state ICAM/IdAM architecture and create a comprehensive living as-is set of architecture documentation
  • Process Improvement:
    • Analyze and optimize ICAM-related business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and streamlined workflows within ICAM functions.
  • Project Management: (in collaboration with Project Manager)
    • Support project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring projects.
    • Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and understanding of ICAM requirements.
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Compliance and Security:
    • Ensure that ICAM solutions adhere to relevant compliance standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of access control policies and procedures.
  • Training and Support:
    • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators on ICAM systems and processes.
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ICAM-related issues.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in ICAM-related areas is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience of 4 to 8 years as a Business Analyst with a focus on ICAM solutions and processes.
    • Demonstrated experience with ICAM systems, such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Identity Governance, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
    • Proficiency in ICAM technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
    • Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar ICAM-related certifications are advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with specific ICAM tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Okta, Ping Identity).
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to identity and access.
