Position Description:

Alcor Technical Solutions, LLC is seeking a project manager that will work under general direction of the program manager. This person is responsible for the management of one or more medium to large-sized, simple to moderately complex projects from planning through delivery. Candidates with Government agency experience is a plus.

Typical Responsibilities will Include:

• Works collaboratively and liaises between the operations manager, technical project members and internal/external cross-functional teams. 
• Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.
• Ensure status, deliverables, requirements, schedules are communicated.
• Manages one or more cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity. 
• Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts. 
• Responsible for assembling project plans and directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review, and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately. 
• Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customer.

Skills/Qualifications:

·        Applicants must be eligible to work on federal government contracts and pass a background check. 

·        Applicants are required to have been in the US for 3+ years to be eligible.

·        2–3 years’ experience in working in federal contracting. 

·        3 or more years of IT work experience. 

·        2 or more years managing IT projects. Managing operations/infrastructure is a plus.

·        Project Management Professional (PMP) and SAFe Agile Certification is preferred.

·        Bachelor’s Degree

·        Experience managing Agile projects.

·        Experience with Atlassian & Microsoft tools, specifically Jira, Confluence, Slack, MS Teams

·        Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·        Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

·        Experience with project related to cyber security, cloud technologies, agile methodologies and managing products/services focused on User Experience (UX) is a huge plus.

·        Experience with projects in one or more technologies and multiple functions.

·        Direct hire preferred.
