Business Analyst Lead

Job Summary:
Alcor Technical Solutions is looking for highly skilled Business Analyst Lead with 8+ years of experience to oversee business analysis initiatives, drive process improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have expertise in requirements gathering, data analysis, business process modeling, and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead business analysis efforts, including requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, UX designers, and business teams to define project scope and objectives.
  • Conduct business process analysis and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop functional specifications, user stories, process flow diagrams, and wireframes.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify areas for business process optimization.
  • Ensure requirements align with business goals, technical feasibility, and compliance standards.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to facilitate clear communication.
  • Lead workshops, stakeholder interviews, and brainstorming sessions to gather insights.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends, generate reports, and support decision-making.
  • Support testing and validation efforts, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or project management.
  • Strong proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
  • Ability to document detailed business requirements, use cases, and workflows.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI-PBA, or Agile BA.
  • Experience working in government contracting, healthcare, finance, or enterprise solutions.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, AI-driven insights, and digital transformation trends.
  • Understanding of compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, or financial regulations based on industry).
